OSI Awarded C$3.0 million Mapping Contract

Vancouver, Canada
— Offshore Systems International Ltd. (TSX: OSI; OTCBB: OFSYF) (OSI) announced today that its mapping division has been awarded a five-year prime contract valued at approximately C$3.0 million, including all options if exercised. The contract to conduct a county-wide mapping project was awarded by Washoe County in Nevada.

“The U.S. mapping company we acquired last April has positioned our mapping division to pursue and win prime contracts in the U.S.,” stated Ken Kirkpatrick, president and CEO of OSI. “Since the acquisition, we have secured city and county prime contracts with the City of Seattle and Pierce County in Washington; Lake Havasu City in Arizona; and now Washoe County in Nevada.”
The mapping data generated by this contract will be used by Washoe County to fulfill local municipality needs and by the County’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) program. Under the GIS program, Washoe County provides various types of mapping services, including online mapping and analysis tools, to other county and local government offices.
