FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

OSI Geospatial Secures First Commercial Customer in Europe

Vancouver, Canada - OSI Geospatial Inc. (TSX: OSI; OTCBB: OSIIF) announced today it has been awarded a contract by Peter Döhle Schiffahrts - KG (Peter Döhle) of Hamburg, Germany for the installation and service of eight ECPINS® 4000 commercial grade navigation systems. Under the terms of the contract, ECPINS® will be installed on Peter Döhle's minibulk carriers. ECPINS® helps to reduce the risk of navigation related incidents by giving bridge crews a precise, real-time display of their position, course, and speed against a background of fixed obstacles and other navigational hazards. The system provides advanced navigational, precise vessel prediction, radar, and target control functionalities to assist the bridge team in difficult manoeuvring and traffic situations.

"With the addition of our first customer in Europe, we continue to expand our role in the commercial maritime market," said Ken Kirkpatrick, president and CEO of OSI Geospatial. "Earlier this year we stated our intention to aggressively pursue this market. Our first European customer represents another important milestone. We are delighted to be working with a shipping company like Peter Döhle."

"OSI Geospatial clearly understands its customers and has worked with hundreds of ships' crews in the development of its market-leading ECPINS®," said superintendent Captain Harnisch of Peter Döhle. “Peter Döhle puts a high priority on the safety of our operations, and we believe ECPINS® contributes significantly to reducing the risk of navigation-related shipping incidents while providing a solid return on investment through operating cost reductions and improved navigation efficiency."

The Peter Döhle shipping group is operator and exclusive chartering agent for a modern fleet of about 170 container ships and bulk carrier. For more information about Peter Döhle please visit their website at www.doehle.de.
